The SWISS made SEEK is your ultimate companion for any escape. Whether your diving into the depths of the oceon or exploring on land, this timepiece is built for adventure!
- Case: The SEEK'S case is crafted in titanium (grade 2) and comlemented with a fully brushed finish. While the case thickness is substantial at 13.4mm, the titanium case material makes for a less "top heavy", more versitile timepiece that's more suitible for everyday wear when compared to a stainless steel dive watch. With plenty of wrist presence, the SEEK weighs in at mere 130 grams on the titanium bracelet, which is considerably light for a dive watch. It has a 42mm diameter for excellent clarity, with a lug-to-lug length of just 48.5mm.
- Dial and Hands: Extremely legible not just during the day, but also at night with Swiss Super-LumiNova (BGW9) on the hands and markers. The sapphire crystal, which is 4.5mm thick, has anti-reflective coating on the inside to reduce glare. The minute track on the dial has a sloped rehaut to create depth with the dial.
- Bezel: Made with Swiss precision, the 120 click uniderectional titanium/ceramic bezel has virtually no play. The pip at the 12:00 position is lumed for a more vintage appearance.
- Water Resistance: Built with an impressive up to 300 meters or 1,000 feet of water resistance, the SEEK can be worn on any adventure.
- Crown: Made from titanium grade 2, the crown is "worthy" at 8mm. It was designed for ease of use, even with gloves on.
- Bracelet: Swiss engineered, it features two quick release springbars so you can swap out another strap within seconds, all without a special tool. The bracelet also comes with extra links for wearers with larger wrists and utilizes a "pin" system for sizing. The titanium grade 2 buckle has a safety clasp and divers extension. High end FKM rubber straps with quick release spring bars are available in our shop to compliment your SEEK.
- Movement: The beating heart of the SEEK is the Swiss made Selitta SW200-1. It features manual winding and hacking capabilities, a 38 hour power reserve, and can produce 28,000 beats per hour (vph).
Avis
When I first opened the box of my black-dial seek, the first thing I noticed is how legible this thing will be while diving. Man, was a right. I'm a sucker for highly legible dial and teethy bezels that can be gripped with neoprene. Boxes checked. I'm usually a 39-40 mm kind of guy with smaller wrists, but the Seek feels great on-wrist. Further the titanium makes it extremely wearable as it goes almost unnoticed over a wetsuit. A dive extension would be nice, but the rubber strap is excellent.
